TISRI Directorates

Board of Directors:

Board of Directors that consists of the board chairman, TISRI managing director, directors of different departments, institute advisors is responsible for:

• determining goals and plans of the institute
• defining policies of the institute
• presenting solutions to probable problems that may face the institute
• making decision on changes in the structure, duties, and activities of the institute

Supreme Scientific Board

This board which consists of a number of professors and experts in different relevant fields offers consultation for planning and executing research projects. It also helps in defining goals and policies of the institute.

Information System Directorate

This directorate is responsible for:

• Managing hardware and software
• Development, maintenance and update of the institute's digital library
• Data collection and feeding into TISRI database

Publications Directorate

This directorate is responsible for preparation, publication and distribution of books and other materials which are the results of studies of different TISRI departments.

Administration Directorate

Supreme Research Council

This council consists of the following directorates:

Communications Directorate

• establishing communication and cooperation with domestic and international study and research centers that have similar activities and concerns to those of TISRI
• establishing communication and interaction with Iranian and foreign elites and scholars in fields of social and political sciences and international relations
• holding international conferences and seminars
• making preparation for the participation of TISRI scholars in international conferences and seminars

Events Directorate

This directorate is in charge of organizing all aspects of conferences and meetings held by the institute.

Analysis and Evaluation of World Developments Directorate

This directorate reviews and analyzes important events and developments of world countries. Preparing periodical assessment of target countries is another responsibility of this directorate.

Translation Directorate

This directorate which consists of translators specialized in various languages is responsible for translating the required materials.

Research Projects Directorate

This directorate is in charge of pursuing, supervising, coordinating, making administrative formalities, and providing supports for different research projects.
